Black Restart (Phoenicurus ochruros)

Very close to where we live in Munich there is a farmer’s field which has recently been harvested and ploughed for the winter. On a walk a few days ago I noticed that there were at least 5 Black Redstarts (Phoenicurus ochruros) flitting about in the field-I assume they must have been on migration. This bird was nicely back-lit and although a field of dirt does not make for a great background, I still quite like the photo. This individual is either a female or a juvenile bird.
