Scarlet-bellied Mountain-tanager (Anisognathus igniventris)
The tanagers are a wonderful family of neotropical birds and, within that family, I think that the mountain-tanagers are especially beautiful. I took this photo of a Scarlet-bellied Mountain-tanager (Anisognathus igniventris) in Chingaza National Park, high in the eastern Cordillera of the Andes outside of Bogota, Colombia.
