Rüppell’s Weaver (Ploceus galbula)

The weavers are a wonderful family of birds, so named for the amazing nests that they ‘weave’. I took this photo of a Rüppell’s Weaver (Ploceus galbula) at Lake Cheleleka in Ethiopia, busily constructing it’s nest!
